Fiber Broadband Association’s OpTIC Path™ Program Builds Momentum with National Award, Successful Rodeo, and Expanding Technician Pipeline

This week, FBA today announced continued momentum behind its OpTIC Path™ program, including winning the 2025 Broadband Communities Workforce Development Award, which demonstrates the program’s growing impact on fiber workforce development nationwide. The program is experiencing rapid growth, increased adoption across 17 states, and heightened demand for trained fiber technicians as BEAD and other broadband funding programs accelerate deployment efforts.
